Carrie Delveaux

I am a wife and mother to three adult children. I have two granddaughters. I love to read, paint and spend time outside. I am a good fit for Counting Stars because I have worked in special education for eleven years. I have an associates degree for Instructional Assistant and was a paraprofessional for several years before I went back to get my Bachelors in Science for special education teacher. This is my sixth year teaching K-5th graders with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have a passion for children with exceptional abilities and have high expectations because I believe they are capable of so much more! I am excited to provide a compassionate and encouraging environment for children with exceptional abilities to grow and develop amazing skills to be a part of their community.
